We took pictures at the home of Rodger and Josie, where they raised their three daughters, Katy, Molly and Carey. Their daughters now have families of their own, and we had the great joy of getting to meet them all! Rodger and Josie have a wonderful home, surronded by beautiful land. I can only imagine how wonderful it must have been to grow up there!
I had the hardest time choosing which pictures to share with you from this session. This family is so wonderful, and as I was going through their pictures, the love they have for one another just jumped off the screen. I even made a collage out of all the kid’s pictures so I could post more!

Tera called us awhile back, and scheduled us to come and take pictures of all her family on the 4th. They all live in different states, and were going to be together over the holiday weekend. So we headed over to Tera and Dean’s beautiful home, and despite the little bit of rain, we were able to get some good photos, and have a great time!
Thanks to everyone to making this such a fun photo shoot, we hope that we get to work with you again soon!

Meet the Schroth family, Don and Robin (mom and dad), Tanie and Matt (daughter and her hubby), Amber (daughter) and Nate (son)!
This is the second time we had the privilege of working with the Schroth family, and we had so much fun the first time, we were really excited to meet up with them again! Robin wanted all her family together because they are all going their separate ways soon. Their son, Nate is headed off to boot camp, and their daughter and son-in-law Tanie and Matt, are headed to Africa for two years! Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you all enter into a new chapter of your lives.
As you can tell from their pictures, they are really a fun-loving family, we laughed a lot during our session! Here is a sneak peek!

Oh it’s been too long since my last blog, and I just wanted to say I have some good stuff to post, from my family pictures, to fun pictures of me and my closest friends, and some great wedding stuff! Ooh and another wonderful family session. So be patient, more to come soon!
For now, here is a humorous picture Brad took, it’s one of my favorites!

Congrats to Ben and Lisa who wed last Saturday! We had such a wonderful time hanging out with Ben and Lisa, and their whole gang. The day flew by, and hardly anything went wrong…except security tags left on Anne’s (the mother of the bride’s) outfit!
So Brad (my personal hero, and now Anne’s) flew over to the store, and insisted they take it off. He didn’t have the receipt, so they gave him a hard time about it! But he persisted and they finally took it off, whew! We couldn’t have her walking down the aisle with security tags on her dress! So crisis averted.
Ben and Lisa, we wish the very best to you and your family!

My niece Isabella, is a genius. Really. At the age of six she is taking pictures that are gorgeous! We stumbled upon her talent for photography when she came with us on a shoot. We let her use our old point and shoot, and she captured some amazing photos! She wouldn’t put the camera down for the next couple of days. Hmm…I am thinking future intern for SarahJohn photography! Here are some of her pictures…

Olivia is my youngest niece, she just turned three! We made her a tutu for her 3rd birthday, and used it as an excuse to take her out for some photos. I absolutely fell in love with Liv’s pictures, but that is probably because I am biased aunt! My nieces have a very special place in my heart. So, this blog is more of a brag blog about my adorable niece, than a photographer sharing her work!

The weather almost ruined our photo session on Wednesday, but thankfully the rain subsided, and the sun came out for some glorious light! Caitlin is awesome to work with, she is so natural in front of the camera and we laughed a lot!
